Karnataka homestay registration: the 2025 guidelines

Karnataka made registration mandatory for every homestay under the Karnataka Homestay Registration Guidelines 2025. Registered homestays receive a certificate valid for five years and must follow the state's safety and operating rules; homestays that don't meet the minimum requirements are refused registration.
