InnRow

Guest check-in and digital register

InnRow lets the front desk check guests in from a phone: photograph each guest's ID with the camera, record names and contact details, and keep a digital guest register for Indian and foreign guests. At check-out the room is marked as needing cleaning.

At check-in

  1. Open today's arrival from the Today screen.
  2. Tap Check in and photograph each guest's ID: Aadhaar, passport, visa, driving licence or voter ID.
  3. Confirm names, phone numbers and the number of adults and children.
  4. Record any advance or balance paid.

In India, InnRow also marks Form C as due for foreign guests and keeps passport and visa photos ready. See Form C reminders.

The digital register

Many countries expect hotels and homestays to keep a register of guests; in India, with a separate record for foreigners. InnRow keeps every check-in as a searchable record and exports it to Excel when someone asks for it. Read the guest register guide or use the guest register format if you still keep paper.

At check-out

Add extras, take the final payment, issue the invoice and tap Check out. The room turns to "needs cleaning" for housekeeping.

Questions people ask

Is it legal to photograph guest IDs?

Hosts commonly collect ID for the guest register and Form C. Tell guests why you collect it, keep it only as long as you need it, and don't share it. InnRow restricts ID photos to staff roles that need them.
