InnRow

Invoices and billing, GST-ready

InnRow makes a numbered invoice for every stay, with room nights, extras such as meals and treatments, payments and the balance, and issues credit notes for refunds. For properties in India, enter your GSTIN and it applies 5% GST to room nights up to ₹7,500 and 18% above, per room per night.

What an InnRow invoice includes

  • Your property's name, address, GSTIN and logo (not InnRow's)
  • Guest name and, for businesses, their GSTIN
  • Room nights with the rate for each night
  • Extras: meals, treatments, activities, transfers
  • GST worked out per room per night at the right slab
  • Advances, payments received and the balance due
  • A running invoice number, and credit notes for refunds

The GST slabs used

Since 22 September 2025, hotel and homestay rooms priced at ₹7,500 or less per unit per night carry 5% GST without input tax credit. Rooms above ₹7,500 carry 18% with input tax credit. InnRow uses the actual price charged for each room and night. Read the full GST on homestays guide, check the numbers with the room GST calculator, and ask your accountant how the rules apply to you.

Not registered for GST?

Many small homestays are below the registration threshold, or sell through booking sites that pay the tax for them. Leave the GSTIN blank and InnRow makes clean bills without GST. Try the hotel bill format.
