Direct bookings

Your own price on Google, next to Booking.com

When a guest looks up your property on Google Search or Maps, Google lists prices from Booking.com, Agoda, MakeMyTrip and others. With InnRow 2.12, your own price from your InnRow booking page can join that list as the official site, and Google charges nothing for these free booking links. You turn it on with one switch, and InnRow keeps Google up to date with your rooms, nightly prices with tax, free nights and minimum stays. Google has to approve InnRow's connection before prices appear: switch it on now and your property goes live as soon as that happens.

What changes for you

  • Guests see your price beside the booking sites on your Google listing, marked as the official site.
  • No commission. A booking from that link lands on your own booking page, not on a booking site that keeps 15 to 25%.
  • The link opens your booking page ready to book, with the guest's dates, number of guests and room already chosen.
  • Prices always match. Google checks that the price it shows is the price on your page, and InnRow sends the same price your booking page shows, tax included.

How to switch it on

  1. Open Settings → Your booking page → Location and contact and fill in your town, PIN / postal code, map position and phone. Use exactly the same address and map pin as your Google Business Profile, because Google matches the two.
  2. Make sure at least one room has a price.
  3. Open Your price on Google and tick Show my prices on Google. Anything Google still needs is listed right there.

What InnRow sends to Google, by itself

  • Each room, and the whole property if guests can book it whole.
  • A year of nightly prices for every number of adults, with tax already included (GST in India). Children stay free, as on your booking page.
  • Which nights are free, and minimum stays from your season prices.
  • Only what changed within minutes of a booking, closure, price or season change, and everything again once a day.

The whole property and its rooms stay linked here too: a booked or closed room closes the whole property on those nights, a booked whole property closes every room, and Sell only with the whole property closes just that room.

Switching it off sends Google one "closed" message, so your property leaves Google's price list cleanly.

Who it suits

Google's hotel prices cover hotels, guest houses and B&Bs where the owner or a manager is on site. A whole villa or apartment rented with no host present belongs to Google's separate vacation rental listings, so check your Google Business Profile category first: Bed & breakfast, Guest house, Farmstay or Hotel fit best. See the step-by-step guide: how to show your price on Google.

Questions people ask

Does Google charge for free booking links?

No. Free booking links are free for the property. InnRow adds no commission either.

When will my price appear on Google?

After Google approves InnRow's connection and matches your property to its Google Business Profile. Switch it on now and your prices start showing as soon as both are done.

Do I need a Google Business Profile?

Yes. Google matches your InnRow booking page to your Business Profile by name, address, phone and map pin, so they must agree.

Does the price on Google include GST?

InnRow sends each night's price with tax included, and your booking page shows the tax inside each price, so both show the same total.

Can guests book instantly from Google?

The link opens your booking page with dates, guests and room filled in, and the guest sends the booking. Google expects it confirmed within 24 hours, so answer requests the same day or hold the rooms automatically.

Is this the same as a channel manager?

No. A channel manager pushes prices to booking sites. This puts your own direct price on Google, with no booking site in between.
