Goa has a large number of villas and guest houses that sell on several booking sites at once, plus family homestays that the state is encouraging. Goa's homestay policy covers homes with one to six rooms for guests inside the owner's own home, with support aimed at non-coastal and rural areas (The Week, July 2025).
